The Jaipur Gharana for Kathak and Ghoomar are popular folk dance styles.Tamasha is an art form where Kathputli puppet dance is shown in play form.Jaipur has four majors fairs and festivals namely Elephant Festival, Gangaur, Kite Festival Jaipur and Teej.

Jaipur Lit Festival
The Jaipur Literature Festival is an annual literary festival taking place in the Indian city of Jaipur since 2006. Asia's biggest literary festival, it was described by Miranda Seymour in the Mail on Sunday of 10 August 2008 as "the grandest literary Festival of them all". The Diggi Palace Hotel serves as the main venue of the festival.
Jawahar Kala Kendra
Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) is a multi arts centre located in Jaipur in India. It was built by Rajasthan government with the purpose of preserving Rajasthani arts and crafts. The centre has been made in eight blocks housing museums, one amphi theatre and the other closed auditorium, library, arts display rooms, cafeteria, small hostel and art-studio.
